As Principal of Phelps Luck Elementary, it is my sincere pleasure and honor to be a member of this great school and community. Phelps Luck continues to enjoy a rich history of academic excellence resulting from a wonderful partnership between the school staff and parents who provide a diversity of experiences for our children. Together, we can provide the modeling, consistency, and structure our students need to achieve academic success and develop positive citizenship traits. My professional career began in Howard County 26 years ago as a teacher at Hollifield Station Elementary School. I served as an assistant principal at Hollifield Station and Bellows Spring Elementary Schools and as principal at Bushy Park and Clemens Crossing Elementary Schools. I have enjoyed serving those communities in various roles, and those experiences will help me as I continue to serve the Phelps Luck community. As your principal, I aim to cultivate a learning community where all students will grow in knowledge, teachers will actively engage students in learning, and parents will be valued partners in their child's education. If you have any comments, questions, or concerns, please know I am here to have that dialogue with you. Again, I am privileged and honored to be your elementary school Principal.

I am thrilled to be joining the team at Phelps Luck Elementary School as an Assistant Principal. I have served as an Assistant Principal for the past two years at Running Brook Elementary School. My journey in education began right here in Howard County, working as a literacy coach, special educator, and classroom teacher across multiple schools. Now, at Phelps Luck, I'm eager to embark on a new chapter. I can't wait to connect with the incredible staff, students, and families that make this school so special. Building those relationships is the cornerstone of a vibrant school community, and I'm dedicated to becoming a part of yours.
